The Regional E-Commerce & Marketing Manager – France & Iberia will be responsible for driving business results by developing and implementing an effective marketing plan, driving brand enhancement and market share growth in eCommerce. You will lead Key Account sales for etailers as well as all marketing in France & Iberia. Your purview will include etailer account management, marketing plans with a focus on digital marketing and new product launch.
This will require a strong working relationship with related company functions, as well as key stakeholders, decision makers and channel partners.

To build SteelSeries into a formidable digital and esports brand in France & Iberia – driving profitable growth via strong eCommerce focus and best in class content implementation.
Criteria of success
Deliver budget revenue and profitability by driving sell-out:
Developing and implementing a rolling six-month marketing plan
Fully understand and utilize ecommerce marketing tools, including optimizing search, best-in-class A+ content, and targeted advertising
Develop a content strategy that links key etailers with social media, PR and SteelSeries.com to create powerful storytelling, including gamers problems solved, the technology and innovation packed in the products, expert reviews, awards and esports and influencer tie-ins.
Driving profitable growth in accordance with budgets
Every part of the digital customer journey including website, advertising, PR, SoMe, eSports and other influencers
Promotion planning – quarterly and yearly promotion calendar creation and management, budgeting, media mix, ROI analysis with all defined E-commerce accounts in France & Iberia.
Quarterly marketing planning with strong focus on brand awareness and sell-out driven activities
Lead a 6-month rolling campaign planning across the region for all key accounts.
Representing SteelSeries and managing our presence at key events within the gaming and eSports community
Serving as an active regional brand ambassador in local social media
Driving consumer demand generation through innovative and testable consumer marketing activities
Tracking, monitoring, and improving brand perceptions of SteelSeries in the region
Managing the marketing budget, driving at least a 5X ROAS, and not overspending without prior authorization
Actively engage in the EMEA teams and sharing best practises/learnings.
40-60 days of travelling should be expected.
SteelSeries has no legal entity/office in France and the right candidate has experience with a home office arrangement.
Channel Marketing & Partner Sales
Execute the eCommerce strategy to drive profitable growth, prioritizing and finetuning along the way
Account planning and achievement of KPI’s
Establish 6 month rolling activation/campaign plans with all key accounts
Monitoring and analysing performance, sales and market trends.
Initiating the Channel marketing strategy in close corporation with retailers/resellers and the EMEA marketing team
Implement A+ content and/or adapt existing content to formats that work in France & Iberia and insure implementation with all key partners.
Share best practise/learnings across EMEA with eCommerce and marketing team.
Significant eCommerce experience within France and Iberia.
Proven ability to use marketing to drive sell-out and profitable growth
P&L and budget management
Track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Deep insight in digital marketing and understanding of the digital consumer journey
The ability to relate to the passion of esports and gamers
A hands-on attitude and an outgoing personality
A decision taker
Fluent communicator in French, English and preferably Spanish (Portuguese is a “nice to have”)
High level understanding of IT
High-level Esport/gaming experience.
A very structured business and marketing planning approach with respect for set deadlines.
A Bachelor’s degree, at a minimum
3-5 years’ experience from a similar role.
